The Research Center on Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology is a joint research center created in 2007 by institutional joint initiative between the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), the Government of Asturias and the University of Oviedo and has recently released its website: www.cinn.es
The creation of the CINN is a side effect of the work performed within IP NANOKER by the nanostructured materials group of the INCAR-CSIC whose members have moved to this new center.
The main objective of this center is to combine interdisciplinary high-quality and competitive research with scientific-technological activities in which the interests of the technologically advanced enterprises join the ones of specialized researchers with a clear vocation for technology transfer.
The scientific-technological offer of the CINN has been broadened to transversal areas related to the sector of the nanosciences and nanomaterials, such as bio-nanotechnology, bio-medicine, optics, aeronautics and aerospace, etc. |
